@tomshattuck@AliceShattuck@allucaneatpod I was just reading the facebook post and all the comments. Funny the owner insists there's video proving the restaurant's right but hasn't provided it to you yet like they said they would
@LaGrecca333 Well one with a Boston accent ran against Wu and this is what the Globe had to say about it "Essaibi George’s accent is a dog whistle to Boston’s white conservative voters, the core of her base.”
@unlimited_ls Yrs ago my mom was heading to work at NEMC & fell down the stairs in the T station. The only person who showed any concern for the bloodied middle aged woman was a homeless person, everyone else just kept going about their business. This story is enraging & entirely believable
@TRHLofficial Had to read Earth in the Balance in my Weather and Climate class back in 1992. Knew it junk science as a stupid college kid back then, how people are still listening to him is a mystery
GenX is not in a forgiving mood. We just wanted to be left alone - like always. But the rest of you took this nonsense too far. And now we’re pissed. All those memes you millennials like to share about us? Now they’re real. It’ll be up to the rest of you to advocate for persuasion and high roads. GenX is angry and now you’re going to see why you should have just chilled out when you had the chance.
We don’t need violence. We know how to take care of business like the grown ups we’ve always been. But you’re definitely getting your feelings hurt.
Good luck.
Maybe you’re glad Charlie Kirk is dead.
Maybe you think he was hateful and harmed your community.
I’m not going to convince you to feel sad.
But I want to show you where both sides are headed.
Because when the assassin fired, they didn’t just hit him.
They hit all of us.
If you believe free speech is for you but not your political opponents, you're illiberal.
If no contrary evidence could change your beliefs, you're a fundamentalist.
If you believe the state should punish those with contrary views, you're a totalitarian.
If you believe political opponents should be punished with violence or death, you're a terrorist.
Considering that everything from movies, games, and consumer products to literally our entire society have been completely ruined in the past 20 years, I’m pretty okay with trying something different.
Regardless of how you voted for the US Presidency, I don’t see how it serves you to root for his failure. There have been times the person I voted for didn’t win, but then you get behind the winner in hopes it will benefit us as a nation. I’m never going to root against the United States. Ever.
