A couple. Person A is an audio engineer, Person B is a singer. They work together for many years making beautiful music. Something happens to Person A and she gets amnesia lol. Person B nurses her back to health, but she can't remember him at all.

For the first time in a long time, they go into the audio booth together. A remembers instinctively how to work the audio booth and so they record a song together.

A suddenly cries after recording. B wonders why. A looks at the waveform of B's voice. She remembers the patterns, the peaks and troughs, the little breaths and quirks, the transient delays and sibilant habits, all laid bare on B's wave-voice complex.
