I did everything to remain calm. Trying to explain to a 5 and 8 year old that we are safe. And then to find out this news adds more emotions to a very long day. I wish a gate attendant would've made an announcement or a phone notification alerting people what was going on!

@AmericanAir I realize this was a tradgedy today, but it was handled poorly. There were no announcements or instructions and for a few moments it was pure chaos at the B terminal I was at. My kids got scared and I did everything to remain calm. Some ppl were saying it was a fire
