A little bit about me:
- I’m a western European revert, be patient and correct me if I say something wrong
- I’m not a bot. I recently created this account to find Islamic content
- I’m a woman, please be modest and polite
Lived my whole life in a small village where nothing happens, moved to the capital 3 years ago and I’ve already seen the weirdest stuff ever, but never like this. Things are getting mad crazyyy, pray for my safety
This is not the type of content I usually post in here, but i’m scared due to what’s happening in my city
Long story short, a policeman killed a man in a problematic neighbourhood and now people are protesting by exploding cars and buses everywhere +
I don’t know how I didn’t wake up with the sound of the explosions because one of the friends that sent me a message heard from his house in the other side of the city lol
But now I’m afraid. I never experienced this. This country is one of the safest in the world
And in the meantime a gipsy woman tried to sell me a bracelet against evil eye, please give me a rest 😭😭😭
I protect myself against evil eye and bad stuff with salat and trust in Allah, not with amulets lol
There are always guys giving papers about black magic in the metro, I politely refused and they insisted so much that I ended up accepting because one of them was wearing a prayer hat and I thought it couldn’t be that bad, turns out it’s about being a “seer astrologer” 😭
It’s so funny the amount of languages we speak at home. I speak portuguese, spanish and english. My husband speaks arabic (darija), french and spanish and is now learning english. Our common language is spanish lol
Because in Qatar and UAE there are actually laws. People who would be in jail in arabic countries come to Europe and do whatever they want because they don’t face any consequences. Troublemakers come to Europe because they wouldn’t survive in a place where the law is strict
It has been already 1 year since I took my shahada. 1 year since I became a muslim. 1 year of changes, 1 year since I was reborn. 1 year since I accepted the truth
I remember the first times I prayed. I didn’t have money to buy praying clothes, so I would wear a djellaba and a sweatshirt to cover my arms and wrap a tshirt around my head. I didn’t know anything in arabic and prayed with an app and a translated version of the quran
I haven’t memorised a lot of the Quran yet, so I just picked one random surah to read during my daily prayers and it’s so wild that it was exactly what I needed to read right now. I could’ve picked any and it ended up being the most accurate. Allah knows all
