I've taken a break from here, as the emotional stress reading day upon day is overwhelming. I came back today, only to see the announcement of Dolly Parton's death. I didn't love her music, but her heart was open to kids and those in need. Her death leaves a hole too big to fill.

@Angry_Staffer Lost my husband to an SCA that happened at home. He was 59; they restarted his heart, but the brain damage happened fast, and he didn't survive. I doubt Mitch has had any conversations with anyone.

On the freeway this morning I saw someone hit the moving repair crew flasher and roll across three lanes and into a ditch. Nothing in life is so important that you can't take time to be safe.

@sweetcarolinatv @grok My husband died while we slept, so getting into bed was a struggle for years. A form of PTSD, they tell me. I finally got a grief therapist, and she's helped so I can actually rest. It took years, only because I tried to heal on my own.

@AdamKinzinger 40+ years ago I was recovering from what now causes me to use a cane and I was harrassed for using a handicap spot. I had a right to use that spot, but because I didn't look sick enough,he felt the right to scream at me. Just be careful on the judgement. It might be you someday.

@AdamKinzinger I use a cane, the cart corrals are nowhere near the handicap parking. You can shame me all you want, but if I am strugging, I'm not returning the cart. I give away the cart at Aldi, as I'm exhausted by the time I shop.
