@DanielVConnolly As well as they have played there is still so much room for improvement. All the missed layups and free throws. Turnovers. If they continue with the blowout it sends a message.
@VPrasadMDMPH@VPrasadMDMPH can you comment on this study? To me this shows some evidence that Paxlovid works in vaccinated patients. (I know it’s not RCT)
@VPrasadMDMPH There’s no clinical trial data but what about this study? Not dispositive - and Pfizer should do a trial - but it is evidence, no? https://t.co/Ajxp0nCFXb
@_harold@UConnWBB@KamoreaArnold@AshlynnShade@QadenceS I think the coaches didn’t want a quick shot, maybe wanting to run the offense. The ball went to Q who was open and just shot it (and swished a three) because that’s what Q does
@DanielVConnolly Didn’t watch the game yet, but based on the box score was happy to see Shade have another strong game and hit 3s. Did Ice do anything? stat line gives one answer but that doesn’t always tell the tale.
@AngelWaterton90 @UConnWBB As expected, Q looks lost at times on the court but she never hesitates to pull on an open three. She can dominate for stretches. Caroline coming back strong would be the best outcome but I hope she prioritizes her health. She needs more time to get healthy.
@DanielVConnolly Ugh. Hope she heals and gets better soon. Hate that she got injured after such a strong performance. Can’t say “without Jana El Alfy we (UCONN) have no chance” but she was potential upside down low. Any word on Amari? Will she be ready to contribute?
@megangauer She did it with efficient shooting today, including from deep. Still, the turnovers…but, yes, a good sign. Each game someone is stepping up.
@DanielVConnolly Caroline will have to step up. Last year she was a reliable scorer and Lou seems reliable. And with Aaliyah scoring, they should be okay in the half court. And against most teams they will get the transition game going.
