@n6oflife6 In this 4th republic, it was former President Olusegun Obasanjo that started it. He appointed only junior ministers of state for petroleum resources when he was in power. He doubled as the president, and the Minister of petroleum resources during his presidency.
The truth is, the @followlasg giving a marching order for refuse that are littering many parts of Lagos State to be cleared, is an indictment on the Ministry of Environment and @followlastma, that these two bodies are failing in their duty.
@nwoko_greg62705 The confusion is mostly caused by a section of the country that is very good in propaganda. They are the ones pushing their wrong narrative that he was released by the Military Governor of a region in order to paint Chief Obafemi Awolowo in bad light.
Let me stop here.
Nigeria starts the construction of a 4000 km high speed railway that will connect 36 states and will reduce travel time between Abuja-Lagos from over 12 hours to 3 hours.
The high speed electric bullet train project will cost $60 billion with completion of some sections in 2027.
@thecompasshub NEC, FEC,State government and even Local government “Okaying” or approving contract for any project is one thing, and the second or most important thing is releasing the fund for it.
A nation’s wealth ties directly to how much power it uses. Prosperous countries use electricity in massive quantities.
Is there a lesson the Nigerian government can learn here?
@Zicky001_@OpeBee Do you think a Capitalist thinks about Federal Character, when he/she wants to invest? What is the business of a Capitalist with "one Nigeria" when he wants to invest his money in order to make profit? A private investor's primary motive of investing is to make profit.
@LOSEYIE@AAAlhaji21@ade_bronco@AdeHardemola@Alakatunde@Alpha_Yom@akin_omotayo1 D Ondo State govt, & by extension, d Ogun State govt, should pursue d project with all d seriousness it deserves. They should carry it like a raw egg. They should give Dangote all d necessary support. They learn from their mistakes in d losing of d Dangote refinery to @followlasg
@Jack_ng01 So, how will these investors recoup their money back after investing their hard earned money in these Stadia in 🇳🇬? Sport is not a business yet in 🇳🇬. Dangote, during d fPMB govt. renovated d Abuja stadium, but, fans vandalized it in 2022 when Super Eagle played a match there.
@harrydaniyan Out of 136 persons, 7 or so are from other tribes, while the remaining 129 are from one tribe. In a situation like this, it will be largely said by most people that they are all from the same tribe.
@Nedumcity_@Jokeshadollar@Ojukwu_Bianca You have already politicized it by directing your appreciation to the only person you directed it to.
But, you are here telling someone not to politicise it, when the person corrected you.
Such a double standard and hypocrisy from you.
