Some doctors need to learn how to respect nurses. When we’re calling about a concern, it’s because we’re with the patient, not them. & it’s not okay to brush off a nurses concern just because they are a nurse and not a doctor.

Got my ass chewed by an MD for calling about a med that had been prescribed that the pt was allergic to. “Just because you have some diploma from a community college doesn’t mean you’re qualified to tell me what to do”. Ok. A couple of things: #1 I have a masters degree.
