@FreeCADNews@MeArmTM@jellysmash Thanks so much for featuring Kayra. Yes, @MeArmTM I've worked myself into freeCAD getting more efficient every day. I want to do some tutorials, let me know what you topics need.
@ashemah that's actually a very interesting idea! need to think about that! the tricky part is to understand the geometry of the assembly process, i.e. how and in which order to get the servos in. i'll chew on that idea, thanks!
Old versus new hip design. Much easier to assemble. Pelvis servo wrong. Unfortunately, not really reduced in wiggle. Back to the drawing board!

@lambda_robot For me as a hobbyist, your progress within a week is fantastic! I've been able to build the IK for Kayra, next I need walk patterns to coordinate the legs. So I'm far away from MPC...
@brandonkxo@BambulabGlobal Just wanted to make sure that first layer is perfect without me doing anything. I'm SOOO fed up with calibrating printers. So the lidar convinced me to add more safety in that direction. I also like the 5 inch touch display and quality metal case.
@brandonkxo@BambulabGlobal I only have it for a day. My first printer was a 130โฌ kit, the second the Prusa Mk3s 700โฌ also kit, this one prebuilt is 1200โฌ without multi colour. The Prusa mk4s prebuilt is the same price. I love the Bambu. It's the largest leap in terms of "just print, don't tinker".
@hackertwins I have hobbyist pressure sensors but they are crap. But using for switches in the four corners of a foot would give a bit more detailed information.
