Losing “childlike” curiosity as an adult is extremely unfortunate. Especially since adulthood is when people tend to have more resources and autonomy to be explorative and knowledge seeking
I keep being assigned to clinical sites where I end up loving all the nurse practitioners and doctors in the department that precept me. Now I have to get gifts for everyone at the end of my rotation 😭 they’ve all been a blessing to me 🤲🏾 grateful
I’ve made many sacrifices for my degree program -multiple relocations, social & financial changes, etc. I know I can’t hesitate to remove distractions & hindrances to my growth. But for anyone supporting me in this era I’ll be repaying it to them 100-fold🙏🏾 just give me time
And the very first thing on the agenda when I move into this condo is hosting dinner for the people I love bc I haven’t done it in so long <3. Cooking has this meditative aspect to it — a productive study break activity
While lent isnt biblical per se, I appreciate that it encourages biblical principles. Fasting, an intentional prayer life, discipline, faith, reflection, & renewal — all things that can strengthen your relationship with God
I have so many sentimental items I want to give to my future daughter one day. Including the very first pearl necklace that I got myself in Cali with my bestie. & One day (God willing) when Im all old & wrinkly I’ll give her my prayer journal. Until then it will be on lock down🔐
I have the most incredible equally yoked friendships, intellectually satisfying pursuits, community enrichment, and adventurous journeys. My little life is so rich, fruitful, overflowing with love & clearlyy divinely protected. I cherish all things that came/come to me from God😌
