Individual Boreholes are more expensive than public tap water

An individual off-grid solar installation is more expensive than the power grid

Private schools are more expensive than public schools

The LGA, State should provide the basics, then the middle class can decide if they want to stay with the grid or go off-grid

You can't solve the lack of power by asking individuals earning N70,000 a month to buy and install individual solar installations, thats like a French queen asking people without bread to eat cake.

Nor can you solve failing public education by encouraging private for-profit schools

A government funded by oil should be able to provide at a minimum

1. Clean water to public taps
2. Steady, reliable power supply
3. Free education for all or means-tested free education for the needy
4. Free emergency and primary health care

What's the point of executive airports if Children roam the streets during classes and SMEs use generators?

Many of you are simply making excuses for the well-funded government. There are sufficient revenues; what is lacking is the people to demand results

I have never heard a minister say, “There is no money to buy me a new official SUV”, but once it's time to provide the basics, they hear excuses, and the citizens defend the excuses

I just spoke with Kunle Akinwale, the Commissioner of @PoliceNG Ekiti State Command. He admits that they arrested @DeleFarotimi and that he's being driven from Lagos to Ekiti by road.

I told him categorically that this constituted an abuse of @PoliceNG's powers and that this was a civil case that ought not to have warranted police intervention.

When he admitted to me that they were driving him from Lagos, I asked him repeatedly, “ Did he kill someone?”

He even said he was still under investigation for “cybercrime.” this illegal arrest was staged by one of Nigeria’s most senior lawyers, Afe Babalola SAN

This is just despicable.

HOW DON YOU EVEN JUSTIFY THAT? There is absolutely no excuse for refusing to fund the health sector. A goverment that could afford a whopping N5 billion for a Presidential Yacht, cannot build & equip at least 10 world-class hospitals for the underserved underprivileged Nigerians?

Isn’t that a crime against humanity? A breach of your fundamental human rights. Buhari continued to enjoy UK healthcare for 8 wholesome years. He could have built 10 standard hospitals, at least in the North. Only he didn’t, in fact, he cloaked himself with the veil of rampant insensitiveness.

No one is gloating over Posh Mama’s death, we are not anything like her. But she was the typical exemplar of vile & wicked. We are the ones expected to be human beings & show compassion, no one expects the other camp to have a little kindness & a heart, is that it?

Doctors graduate & just japa, & your insensitive governments (at all levels) don’t care. Your politicians fly abroad for ordinary malaria treatment. Don’t you think you’re a fool for supporting the wicked ones from among them? Posh Mama was a Buharist, she died a professed Agbado as well.

Nigeria represent the many ways that people can die. In a bad regime, many die, others count & bury their losses. The cross movement of statistics of horror was staggering. We only hope that someday, somehow, our victory will trump the brutality. How did we even get here? 💔
