The other thing to be said, is something I try and say repeatedly.
You cannot expect people who permanently deal with violence, abuse and trauma to be rational all of the time and not have triggers.
CPTSD, Anxiety & Depression are HUGE in Police Officers.
We are not robots. 🤷🏼♂️
Little Sunday shoutout to our brilliant @Ldn_Ambulance colleagues in #London & nationally in all of our Ambulance Services, thank you all so much for what you do everyday! 🚑
Lots of grumbling posts today that DO NOT reflect the amazing lifesaving work you do. Thank you all. 🚨
Say hello to all our new Team Managers! 🖐
A huge congrats to our first cohort of Team Managers, who graduated from their training on Friday at Bromley Ambulance Station. This is a new role in our organisation that allows staff to develop into their first line management role.
Just brilliant to meet one half of our first ever cohort of Team Managers, a new leadership role to ensure we can provide great support to all our colleagues. Really hope you all flourish! @Ldn_Ambulance
If you’re at Notting Hill Carnival this weekend, give a wave to @Ldn_Ambulance teams, who are working hard to keep everyone safe and well.
If you’re going along, remember to stay hydrated, look after yourself and drink responsibly.

If I can suggest any thread to read … make it this one. @alwaddington honest/true and a gigantic heart of love, professionalism and care. #proudofyougirl
In April 2022 I was an NHS nurse in a really bad place:
• Experiencing flashbacks
• Feeling unable to cope
• Having nightmares
• Extremely anxious
3 months on, I'm a completely different person.
• I'm kinder
• I have clarity
• I prioritise myself
Here's what I learned:
Whilst @LNWHC , Dex made the day for some paramedics @Ldn_Ambulance (who don’t have a wellbeing dog service).Paramedics are those most likely to suffer burnout & PTSD out of all 999 services. Fact ! Great to see smiley faces from those #heroes in green. #NHS#MentalHealthMatters
