$HPE First breakout entry on 8/4 failed. 8/6 U/R entry was stoped cuz entry was little too late S/L was too tight. Re-tried on 8/7 enter with 5min confirming lower high on 5 mins. This time stop loss is low of day.
$DELL been stalking for a while. Breakout fail→squat→undercut into 20ema on 8/7 Fri. Confirmed forming lower high on 5 mins→enter with stop loss at previous candle to achieve less than 2% S/L. Could've been 15 mins pivot.
$DELL Entry after taking off high of yesterday's insideday on 15mins pivot this morning. I was so tempted to get on ORB or 5 mins pivots but I completely quit those entries. Hope it will hold tomorrow and after
This is a trade which I got an idea from Martin Luk's video on $INTC on 6/11 trade.
$BE 2nd higher low leg, made an insideday yesterday, entry for inside high today at first 15 mins pivot low for super tight S/L. My biggest position now. Gap up overnight.
Sold the last piece of $ARM closed under 20ema, holding last piece of $MRVL and 50% of $ATI to let them work. 90% cash now and feeling relaxed to work on this new book until another strong uptrend comes back 😌
$APLD 5/20 20ema reclaim with most recent pivot S/L, next day gap up was the best scenario but missed.
Today undercut into 10ema and entry at yesterday's low was the best but it had to be the first 5min and could've been a noise so passed. Waiting on 15min pivot and got in.
$MRVL Revenge trade
Been stopped out multiple times and yesterday at Undercut off of 20ema was the best entry which I missed. That morning undercut recovery is something I've been studying lately.
It brokeout again today and ended up entering at 30min pivot.
$AAOI Testing trade
Same as $GLW 20ema reclaim entry at 30 mins pivot low. Since this is not a breakout trade, I would like to trim more aggressively when I do.
$GLW Testing trade.
Got an idea from $APLD yesterday. 20ema reclaim entry with confirmation at EOD. Buying into strength and stop loss at 30 mins pivot low for tight risk.
$AAON Was looking to enter at yesterday's inside day high but didn't break. It ended up undercut and I entered at 30mins pivot off 10ema with even better R:R
$MRVL Revenge trade
Been stopped out multiple times and yesterday at Undercut off of 20ema was the best entry which I missed. That morning undercut recovery is something I've been studying lately.
It brokeout again today and ended up entering at 30min pivot.
$ARM FOMO trade.
Ideal entry was 5/18 at Undercut with 2.7% S/L but missed. Then yesterday it was so close to breaking out with leading names bouncing back. Last 1 hour, I ended up entering at 15mims pivot with 1.3% S/L, risking $3. Today brokeout and trimmed at 11:1 R:R.
$MRVL Many attempts at Undercut all failed and got stopped out this morning and I gave up and it went back up. Trading is so hard.
$ARM I was tempted to get in yesterday but passed. Then it's about to breakout. Now I will have to try ORB or re-test.
I really suck at this game.
@eragon_160 Thanks for the comment! That's something I'm still trying to figure out actually. I saw my sensei mentioned that he prefers 20eams to 10ema for pullback but I'm sure it depends on how fast the stock moves. For earnings gap ups, 10ema for sure. For me, 10ema first, failed, 20ema.
