Today we mourn the loss of a true Lions legend, Fergus Slattery.
A family man, a valued friend, and one of the 1974 Invincibles, Fergus was an inspiration both on and off the pitch.
Our thoughts are with his loved ones at this difficult time.
Rest in peace, Fergus 🕊️

Today is @IrishCancerSoc biggest fundraiser of the year. 1000’s of volunteers out since 6am & will remain out till late.
Can I ask @Concern , why do you have ‘chuggers’ (paid) out today, 100 yards away from @IrishCancerSoc volunteers today, of all days?
Raced to make the post on Fri to get a birthday card in the post to a friend of 40 yrs,we exchange cards & scratch cards every year without fail. Yesterday I found the stamp I had bought for the card in my wallet..
But @AnPostvox delivered the card, minus the stamp. Thank you 🙏🏻
This was an incredible day in Irish athletics put together in the summer of 1985 at Belfield by the indefatigable GOAL Charity founder John O’Shea who somehow convinced Ireland’s 4 world class milers at the time to have a go at the World 4 x 1 Mile record which still stands today
'Dillon is with us everyday'
'I never flinched once he was across my chest... I knew we'd be battling right until the end.'
