TAYAO: SENATORS LINKED TO FLOOD CONTROL SCANDAL SHOULD NOT BE PART OF BLUE RIBBON COMMITTEE
Political analyst Prof. Edmund Tayao said senators allegedly linked to the flood control scandal should not sit in the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee due to conflict of interest, citing Sen. Jinggoy Estrada as vice chair and Sen. Chiz Escudero as among its members.
He stressed that officials with possible involvement should have already recused themselves, adding in Filipino, “Kung meron kang kahit konting hiya, dapat hindi mo tinatanggap ’yan,” and criticized Estrada’s remark that “that’s the price I have to pay.”

Much as I love Leni as a presidentiable, I think the PH will also benefit from this energy from Risa. She’s good governance with teeth.
Someone said before: si Leni ipaglalaban mo, pero si Risa ilalaban ka.
Former SC Senior Associate Justice Antonio Carpio explains the concept of "universal jurisdiction" over crimes against humanity, dismissing claims that a local warrant is needed first.
How to redeem the Senate? SP should resign. Commence the impeachment trial forthwith. Sign (if still possible) the flood control BRC report, resume BRC investigation on flood control, admit mistake on Sen. Bato protective custody, apologize for Senate (staged) shooting…
I don’t know much about law enforcement protocol or rules of engagement so i’ll leave the important questions about the senate “putukan” to be asked by veteran defense journalist and dear friend @ManuelMogato.
Bok manny, pasok!

Plain and simple. Obstruction of justice ang ginagawa nila. And they have the gall to say that the senate is under attack. What’s under attack is the integrity of this institution bec of what thery’re doing.
SenTri is right. Investigate the shooting. No casualties. Direction of shooting. What guns were used? Who owned those guns. No government enforcers were present. I tend to agree with SenTri. Only majority senators were inside the Senate. Seems staged!
Some Senators with a bevy of photos right after a shooting incident inside its sacred halls? Smiling, laughing, eating and drinking with catering and all?
That's weird for a branch of government allegedly under attack. Go draw your own conclusions.
