@mstotty88 @Leedsviv They used to do w/end ortho elective WL initiatives where I worked. Surgeon and anaes very well remunerated for it, nurses not as AfC. No extra ward staff or FY/ANP cover to care for these pts & already skeleton staff. Not a good comparison from my experience.

Phoned the GP

Within 90s of calling, the GP was telling me he knew the patient for the last 30 yrs, the full pmh, baseline exam and the patients hobbies too.

When primary care are allowed to be primary care, they have no equal.
