Yes, I made a post about it. And income is intrinsically connected to race. Poor Black neighborhoods are hit the hardest with property taxes, housing deficit and investment.

The reality of the fact is that race certainly plays a part in a decision to pass Connected Communities. And just because the person who brought it up wasn't a POC shouldn't erase that fact.

5. So in conclusion, we need affordable housing now. We need racially equitable policies. And y'all need to quit telling Black citizens you know best. Connected Communities is for developers and implants, bc most most Black folx won't benefit. What are we going to do about it?

1.Sad to see rage baiting, especially when it comes to affordable housing and economic growth. Our city has a racism problem that affects housing. 💯 Targeted enforcement of citations and property taxes, lack of affordability, and creating zones that will influence displacement.

4. We are also out here with one of the lowest life expectancies so we aren't trying to hear, "wait, be patient." Also, notice the areas with the biggest gaps in life expectancies and where gentrification has occurred in the last 7 years.

BREAKING: The Supreme Court of Ohio rejected Ohio's request to enforce a ban on gender affirming care for trans youth.

This is a victory for trans youth and their families.
