@VicBioCon I missed the conference as I just found out about it but would love to watch the recordings online if I can. How can I access them?

In the UN Sustainable Development Report, Australia’s score for “climate action” had us ranked second last - sitting 176th of the 177 countries assessed. 👎

We can, and must, do better.

@SmartEnergyCncl Sad to have missed this! Was it recorded? Please share the link

Determined to stay engaged in the #climatecrisis and how to find some solutions when we come out of the other end of this... So I’ve retrieved @NaomiAKlein #ThisChangesEverything from my bookshelf! Wish me luck

@kbbuzza Thanks @kbbuzza! #climatechange is a sharp prompt to rethink our relationship with energy, including the western cultural norm that equates abundant electricity use (and associated consumption) with civilisation. Need to contact and converge energy use globally.

[Kb Buzza @kbbuzza]

Such an insightful discussion on our energy dependencies and perception of modernity being connected to access to #electricity etc by @LaurenARickards #efi2020
How can we build more #energyresilient communities?

#Gratitude diary ep. 1:
a) My education enabling me to expand my POV and have the facts to engage in stimulating debate
b) The democratic system. Never forget that a lot of the world doesn’t get a choice who their leaders are
c) The time I spent with my Nan before she passed

Going to dedicate at least 30 minutes everyday to my #climateactivism. Meeting allies, educating others, consuming films and documentaries, reading and who know what other kind of direct action after I join @ExtinctionR #ClimateChangeIsReal #keepmyfireburning

[Kb Buzza @kbbuzza]

Feeling firey after hearing about the @ExtinctionR at #slf2019 . Let’s do this and declare the #ClimateEmergency loud and clear @SLFestivalAus

How to make a carbon tax popular? Give the proceeds to the people. Canada have been leading the way on policy design, incentivising polluters. #CarbonTax #solutions #ClimateAction https://t.co/GvWox4EX8h
