@noahzweben Oh my bad, I should have checked closer! I experimented a bit and here’s what would be nice:
- Skip Permissions mode even if I didn’t use those flags initially. Phone sessions are typically for things I don’t need to babysit.
- Push Notifications for when I do want to babysit.

While serving in this mission 9.5 years ago, our entire mission set a goal to see a temple in our mission within 10 years. “Temple In 10” became our motto and it was our daily motivation for sharing Christ’s Gospel. So needless to say, I bawled like a baby when I saw this 😭

At a Christmas devotional held for Latter-day Saints and friends of the Portland Maine Stake on Sunday, December 14, 2025, Elder Allen D. Haynie, United States Northeast Area President, read an announcement from the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints of a temple to be built in Portland, Maine.

"We are pleased to announce the construction of a temple in Portland, Maine. The specific location and timing of the construction will be announced later. This is a reason for all of us to rejoice and thank God for such a significant blessing—one that will allow more frequent access to the ordinances, covenants, and power that can only be found in the house of the Lord."—The First Presidency

This announcement brings the total number of temples—operating, under construction, or announced worldwide—to 383. It will be the first temple in Maine.

The silver lining: BYU likely needed to win the Big 12 to make the CFP, and that hasn’t changed. Now there’s just no wiggle room for making the championship. Years of independence trained me to think one loss ruined the season, but now it doesn’t. Power conferences are fun! 😄
