My turn to weigh in on @amazon's @AmazonKindle #ebook return policy—aka, that big pile of B.S. you've been hearing us #indieauthors complain about.

@askjcp Just got a notification that an item from my order was canceled for being "no longer available." But I can see clearly on the website that it is, in fact, still available. I originally ordered this a month ago and was sent the wrong item...

“You’re an author! You are, by default, more interesting than most people.” LOVE this. 😉 @Nick_Stephenson #SelfPubCon21

@Polar_Bear_Edit Just because you CAN doesn’t mean you SHOULD!

[Krysten Bennett @kbennettwrites]

@CarissaAndrews @Jffelkins A few books I’ve read, dialogue tags definitely WERE the problem 🤣#SelfPubCon21

@MarkLeslie @IndieAuthorALLI @TheIndyAuthor I like that! I’ve always found shorter fiction to be challenging because of the limitations on words, plot, characters, etc., but I’m getting a totally different perspective today. It’s liberating to think of it as experimental rather than restrictive. #SelfPubCon21

[Krysten Bennett @kbennettwrites]

So many nuggets in this talk with @MarkLeslie and @TheIndyAuthor… going to have to listen to it again! #SelfPubCon21

Try out other genres, experiment with style, tease your readers, get unstuck, test out an idea, and perfecting your process… So many reasons to write short fiction from @MarkLeslie and @TheIndyAuthor #inspired #SelfPubCon21

A short story as a palette cleanser in between novels… I like that! #SelfPubCon21 @MarkLeslie

@myendlessshelf Nope, it’s new to me too! #SelfPubCon21
