Anyone who watched PM Express last night would know that the starting point of the disagreement between Bright and Wing Commander Sogbojor was the commander’s stance against policy analysis, which requires triangulation of multiple lines of evidence or information. He believed his experience as a pilot was paramount and should dominate the conversation. He essentially dismissed Bright’s position as “theory” and even questioned the need for a forensic expert on the show.
But this is clearly a multidisciplinary issue. If you are trying to conduct a proper root cause analysis, you must first establish what the ideal situation should be, then compare it to the reality to understand why the ideal was not achieved. Bright was attempting to set that ideal framework, but Wing Commander felt it was unnecessary.
It appears the Wing Commander was unhappy that Bright had earlier made a post correcting his claim that the Z-9 planes were donated to Ghana by China. That seemed to influence the tone and direction of the discussion. Otherwise, Bright’s broader policy perspective and the Wing Commander’s piloting experience could have complemented each other to enrich the public discourse. Shoutouts to Col. Aboagye for the great work!
P.S. I find positions such as “let the experts talk” or “pretending to be all-knowing” lazy. Offer more comprehensive arguments than that.
@BehizyTweets Some underestimate the damage trump will do to, they assume it will impact others
not them. they’re refusing to heed the warnings. trump will not win but if he wins America deserves all he will bring. It will be brutal and those egging him on will be victims after they regret.
@Petr70G @WallStreetSilv How much is O’Leary contributing???? You guys don’t. See that the problem is trump!!! I’m surprised. The whole world is watching in bemusement.
@ProfAbotsi We should simply withdraw all public financing of football through FAs.
Let’s apply all public financing to schools competition and colts football (neighborhood competitions.). From these we can select black stars
No bonusses to management persons. All payments must be local
Hi @elonmusk I wonder if you’ve thought of cladding the whole OLM with heat shield cladding as you’ve done with starship. That should both test the heat shields often and protect the OLM from the worlds biggest blow torch.
@BBSimons They just started. Let’s see how they take on the market. Imagine they put up some serious capabilities and marketing do you think any telco can survive?@BBSimons
Really sad to realise that in a space of 8 years they’ve blown up the whole financial sector including confidence in government securities!! Something we took 60 years to build.
Oxfam says Ghana's IMF engagement in 2015 was one of the most open in the world, with strong engagement by CSOs pushing a public interest agenda. As a CSO actor, I agree. I also find that the current IMF process is the opposite: with zero govt interest in openness & engagement.
Total Capex for Ministry of Environment, science, technology and innovation in Ghana for 2023 is less than 1 million GHC. For the next 2 years or so, total projected CAPEX is less than 5 million. Total projected for the national cathedral in same period amounts to over GHC160M
@elonmusk@wholemars I’m real scared about firing all 33 engines at once, I don’t see how stage zero survives that!!!
Please consider starting with a fraction of the engines just to clear stage zero and then fire all 33 afterwards.
