@Tim_Sandborn21 If you read Psalms, David admits there may be sins he hasn’t been aware of. It’s humility to acknowledge you’ve probably done something wrong.
Generally speaking, whatever doesn’t line up with the fruit of the spirit. The 10 commandments help, but Jesus says it’s about the heart. Anything that at heart damages you or another, even certain thoughts. Anything that does not honor God. It’s less about worrying about sin though
@ronhenzel Derangement? A lot of people are seeing the huge problems with the system. I have also seen the problems it has as do most "systems." I don't need God to meticulously determine all things (including wickedness). Not to mention damned babies that Calvin admitted.
@KarlKohlhase He’s on his high horse. From what I know he’s taking the most uncharitable views that caricatures what belief is and making a movie. In other words like all the atheist memes you can think of
This week in our restaurant-to-home conversion project, Brenna finished the tile backsplash in our kitchen, and I installed some motion-detecting lights under the cabinets.
I think it’s wiser to be somewhere in the middle for most discussions. You can allow someone else to think for themselves and there’s more room for grace. I’m not saying you can’t have exact ideals, but don’t let them become you. You risk being an idealog NPC then
@KarlKohlhase I think it’s really easy to forget the negative things we experienced as a society. Biblically, there is a precedent of Israel forgetting within days or simple years. I’m not surprised by it.
It’s been a while. Here’s some wisdom for the day. If you don’t like the idea of corporations rewriting stuff you love, don’t watch. People complain companies “ruin” things, but the original stuff didn’t change. It didn’t ruin anything, you are complaining just to complain
