There are some things we shouldn’t get “used to.” In doing so, we teach ourselves to normalize and tolerate what should not be allowed in the first place.
You survived it because there’s more for you to do. More blessings to experience. More lives to bless through what God has placed on the inside of you. Live strong!
Pruning cuts away dead branches to allow healthy branches to grow. Our spiritual growth requires the same purging. When God begins to cut away things that hinder our growth, it’s a painful but necessary process.
When life presents things to me that are beyond my finite understanding, that’s when I have to ask God to help me see things from His divine perspective so that I can have peace.
