So let’s get this straight:
- Tigers called the Dodgers, wanted to get a deal done immediately
- Rays weren’t even given a chance, Tigers didn’t care for their prospects
- Made the price for Milwaukee much higher than for the Dodgers
Something is fishy… way too fishy.
Girls are welcome to play with the boys if they’re good enough. Boys are not welcome to pretend to be girls to play with them. Wildly different things.
I'm not backing down from this one.
You can support people's rights AND believe biological men shouldn't compete in women's sports. Those two things are not mutually exclusive.
My issue isn't hate. It's protecting women, protecting girls, and asking why a WNBA coach chose to inject herself into a controversy that could hurt the very league she's supposed to represent.
Common sense still matters. That's where I stand.
My full remarks are on YouTube.
Happy to see that the Cubs are structuring his debut with them this way. Not that he couldn't have handled it, but that would have been a heavy way to start a new chapter.
Consider me a Cubs fan for the remainder of 2026.
Toronto ❤️❤️❤️ So many great memories with amazing people that i will cherish forever! Getting to represent an entire country was truly an honour that i never took for granted! Love you all!
Jeff Hoffman was drafted a BlueJay in 2014, traded for Tulowitzki in 2015 and in 2025 he returned to Toronto. We had a great run and was a class act through and through. When players come here they never seem to want to leave as this was the sentiment @hoff_23. Our last memory of him, he was signing baseballs for kids at Daikin Park post-trade. It doesn’t get any better than that. Jeff you’re a good guy in this sport and the game needs more guys like you. We appreciate you! All the best of luck with your new chapter in Minnesota. #BlueJays50
Freddie Freeman says he congratulates opposing hitters at first base
“If you get a hit, I’m saying, ‘Nice hit.’ You know how hard it is to get a hit in the big leagues?”
“I appreciate it. I tell every guy, ‘Nice swing,’ or, ‘Way to swing it.’”
“I know my pitchers probably wouldn’t like that.”
“We’re playing a game. It’s a kids’ game.”
“Sometimes you just forget when you’re going through the grind of the season.”
“My favorite is when it’s a big-league debut… And that guy gets his first hit. To be able to say, ‘Congratulations.’ You worked so hard your whole life to get there.”
“Sooner rather than later, I’m going to be retired, too. I just like to have fun with all the guys. I know we’re competing against each other… But you guys know it’s a brotherhood.”
“When you get to play this game for as long as we’ve got to… You’ve just got to enjoy the little moments.”
