@JjgMaley@CyrtHogg Swing. Bat was past the plate. This is a tough case because if the criterion of bat angle or wrists breaking was not met. I think the 1st base ump is focusing on that. Also the ball had past plate and nearly in the catcher's glove before he stopped. Totally whiffed on timing
@elerianm Good news for banks, particularly regionals that live on Net Interest Margin. NIM got squeezed hard when the Fed jacked up interest rates so fast in 2022-23.
@LarryToweTV@SullyCNBC Disneyland Paris did this -- 82,000 panels covering their parking lot generating 36 MW. A music venue in the Netherlands has the largest at 91,000 panels. In the US Rutgers University was putting in 14 MW over their lots, starting in 2023, can't find update on progress.
@SullyCNBC In the Southwest Power Pool (grid operator in the Plains/Midwest states), wind power ranges from 25-50% or more of production on the grid. This region, which has a mid-afternoon peak demand cycle, could easily add more solar.
@SullyCNBC Funny thing about solar is it need not take any farmland. There are plenty of roofs and parking lots that can do double duty if solar panels are added. Wind turbines are a nice second income for family farms.
@SullyCNBC If it had been part of CHIPS Act, OK, but applied after-the-fact with no additional capital provided it is nationalizing a business like a banana republic.
