@audrawrongspeak Little kids need like 14 hrs sleep to function well so if she’s not napping she may be over or under tired. Later bedtime to account for the nap, earlier bedtime if she had no nap

@audrawrongspeak quiet/rest time instead of forcing nap. Give her some quiet toys like puzzles and books that she only has access to during quiet time, make the room darkish & calming. She has to stay for x amount of time (visual timer) she’ll either fall asleep or at least relax for a bit

@FeechPeach @DebMBees @BradfemlyWalsh Oops you said 4 not 3. 4 you should be able to handle more sit down work regardless of boy or girl but they still need outlets for play and ways to make learning fun.
Boy parents complain bc they don’t teach their son time/place & how to behave in structured settings

It has nothing 2 do w boys/girls
teacher shouldn’t have had 3s doing table work more than about 1/4 of the time. most of them can’t handle sitting still “reading” a paper for too long. Lessons supplemented w a game or craft go better

A good teacher knows what to realistically expect from 3yos & how to correct. In order for them to bring it up to the parents, this kid had to be being a major disruption.
