Krew is in the process of being discharged. We’re finally are heading home. This was the hardest 4 months. From Brooke being admitted to scared heart at 24 weeks in December to Krew being medi-flighted to All children’s in St. Pete. Our whole little family will finally be whole

It’s officially #FeedKrew day!!! Esophogram looked great. We get to test out that new esophagus with 5mL of Brooke’s finest. I’ll be treating my esophagus on Busch’s finest later. Hopefully home in a week or two!

The boy is off his paralytic today! Ventilator comes off tomorrow. For the first time since he was born he won’t have tubes or tape on his face. Got his @BlueAngels f/a-18 going to help him get back home to Pensacola! Few more weeks! #feedKrew

The boy is having surgery #3 today. We will find out during the procedure if it’s a stretch of the esophagus or connection. Hoping for connection! #FeedKrew

Quick surgery, went well. Gap is very close. Possibly connecting next week. Rest ,recovery and good pain meds the rest of the day. Brooke will be playing him Grateful Dead lullaby covers.

Surgery #2 on the boy today. Stretching both ends of the esophagus a little more. Potentially last stretch before connection. Another big milestone.
