@prathoshap The article concisely captures the essence of your talk. The that that looms is indeed big and the human attributes you cite pale before it. Hopefully, humanity will adapt and put AI to use for the betterment of life for all.
I was searching for something related to UPI and MDR (to check what @deepakshenoy has said in the past about MDR) and found this on a govt website.

lol more proof that when the govt says something, usually the opposite it true. Took about a year...
While the roads under its management are broken and dug up, the GBA is busy threatening Sir owners to clean their sites or face steep penalties.
August 15th is the deadline for site owners. Does @GBA_office have any deadlines to fix the roads.

@blrcitytraffic At Sangam circle this afternoon, between 13:35 and 13:40, BTS bus coming from RVRoad turning towards Banashankari, jumped the red light and almost ran over me and a friend - who were crossing with green light for pedestrian crossing.

Had reported an abandoned vehicle (abandoned since many years) on BTPAatram app on 12th July. No action and no status update.

@krishnabgowda Very good initiative. Lot of reports will be sent by citizens and execution may be a challenge.
From my side, I've reported a vehicle abandoned for a few years. Reported on 12th, not taken up yet.
@krishnabgowda Very good initiative. Many buildings have built steep slopes and messed up the foot paths rendering them unusable for anyone other than acrobats. Please take these too. Ideally physically handicapped persons should also be able to walk on the foot paths.
@bengalurupost1 Foot paths have been altered by majority of the houses thereby rendering them unusable for anyone with mobility disorder. Wheelchair usage is pretty much impossible for any length of stretch anywhere in Bangalore. Contrast this with South Mumbai which is far better
@suritalreja Had this experience 34 years ago. The policeman in his statement that he was writing had words to the effect that there are no criminal charges or other legal issues against this child.
This compound is doing what inhalers, oxygen tanks, and steroids never could.
It’s curing the “incurable” and helping people with COPD breathe again.
Daniel (74), a man with severe COPD, said he was “ready to die.”
But something remarkable happened when he started taking a nebulized DMSO solution his neighbor prepared for him.
What is DMSO? It’s a natural compound derived from tree pulp, with a remarkable ability to restore breathing, reduce inflammation, and heal damaged lungs.
In just two weeks of use, Daniel was breathing so well he could finally talk in complete sentences again without gasping for air.
If Daniel’s recovery surprised you, just wait until you read what happened to the 85-year-old man with emphysema.
