@elonmusk Sometimes the answer to "Why" isn't money, investment, we have no other option, survival, or some drummed up geopolitical reason. Sir Edmund Hillary. "It's not the mountain we conquer but ourselves."
@practicalgolf Playing with friends has helped me to stay engaged in wayward rounds. The real difficulty is staying engaged when ur playing by yourself
@practicalgolf It's been nice not losing my temper or focus over a bad shot or an unfortunate break. Now, I'm only upset when I make a poor strategy decision. And that's quickly left in the past.
@ElectroBOOMGuy@elonmusk Wrong or right, have ur opinion. We all should. It starts to become scary when authorities and governments make our decisions for us. Especially our decisions in regards to our children.
@practicalgolf I thought my annual Longest Day of the Year was a grind. 3 courses and 54 holes in one day. We take a cart tho. 2 of the courses actually don't allow walking due to the terrain. Still a grind. 11 straight days?! That is some Ironman shit right there!!!
@mikemad75@practicalgolf This would have been 15 years ago but I worked with a guy from Scotland that had played the Old Course. He said it was about 60 pounds
@practicalgolf Have a playing partner that is a 2. I'm a 15. I talk through strategy on every shot with him. I'm finding what clubs and shots I have a lot of comfort with. It's rewarding to hit a "bad" shot but the hole is salvageable because of good strategy.
