Keller FFA traveled down to Tarleton yesterday to compete at one of the largest LDE invitational in the state. Our kids not only put in a 15 hr day with travel, but gave our last practice contest their all while competing with hundreds of other teams!💜

The Clinical Skills class experienced their first grooming day for KCAL staff members and I’d say it was a pretty productive day! #cteinkisd

Our student teacher Ms. Dowdy spent all weekend making 180 cattle cookies for Advanced Animal Science so they could practice beef cattle classification. They are choosing two beef breeds to breed in order to create the ultimate hybrid! 🐂🐮

Students in Wildlife and Fisheries are studying how to track Big Game Animals. Today we are learning about scat, which is another way of saying animal droppings. 💩 🦌 🐻

Today Advanced Animal Science students are testing their Temple Grandin design models using hamsters and guinea pigs. Our fastest time this morning was 3.41 seconds. *No animals were harmed during this experiment * 😊 🐹 ❤️
