Rosie🐾🐾 wants to know: what’s a girl gotta do to get a second look around here? 💅✨

Hopefully the answer is go to foster💕 for a couple weeks and come back with a full-on glow-up. Rosie🐾🐾 has been serving looks in her flower collar, flaunting dazzling sunglasses, and proving she can absolutely pull off a bow. She’s had her spa era. Her fashion era. Her influencer era. She’s just waiting on her “loved forever” era❤️🙏.

But Rosie🐾🐾 didn’t just come back looking fabulous. Time in foster💕 reminded us what we’ve always known: she’s a wonderful dog who just needs someone to see past her kennel behavior and into her heart.

Her foster💕 says Rosie🐾🐾 loves looking out the window and keeping tabs on the neighborhood—cars, people, dogs, all of it. She loves walks and trails, fetch with stuffies, and checking out rabbits and geese from a distance. She also loves cuddling, sitting on your lap, and sleeping or resting under a blanket. Rosie🐾🐾 knows her basic commands, is crate trained, and will go right in when her foster💕 points to the crate. She also knows how to communicate her needs—she goes to the door when she wants out and gently nudges the blanket when she wants under it.

Rosie🐾🐾 is working on leash manners and does pull some, but she doesn’t bark when she sees other dogs. She’s smart, curious, sweet, and has a lovely balance of energy and calm. She needs longer walks after being in the crate while her foster💕 is at work, but once she’s had that outlet, she’s happy to cuddle up and rest.

So what else does Rosie🐾🐾 gotta do to get a second look? Because she’s tried patience. She’s tried being the good girl. Now she’s tried accessories. What she really needs isn’t more attire, but someone to love what’s on the inside.

Rosie🐾🐾 is estimated to be around 5 years old. She is good with kids but would prefer to be your only pet. Her adoption❤️ is being sponsored by Dave’s Dogs. Rosie🐾🐾 is back at the Prince William County Animal Services Bureau for the time being and she’d love to entertain visitors .

POV: Your Layton Longlegs and stole the phone to take some cheeky selfies! 😋

Layton was very shut down and nervous when he arrived in our care 5 months ago, since then he has really came out his shell and shown us his loving and goofy personality!

He gets a lot of confidence from other dogs when out and about, and could live with another dog pending a successful meet at the centre. Layton is on the lookout for a calm home with secondary or above aged children 💛
