If you’re struggling right now & life ain’t going the way you want it to, I promise you, if you treat yourself better, better things will happen for you.
When you give in to toxic people, toxic situations & toxic coping mechanisms, you lose respect for yourself, you look at yourself like your a loser, that’s why you “feel” shit, it’s how you feel about yourself.
If you really feel really low right now DO the right thing, stop doing the things that make you feel worse, treat yourself better, slowly you’ll start to like yourself, start to respect yourself, & that’s when you’ll start to feel happy again, trust me, it’s worked for me.
Life’s to short, get to know yourself again, you just forgot you’re a legend for a moment that’s all 😉

We live in a grotesquely unequal society that concentrates wealth, status & power in the hands of a few.
Real patriotism is about building a society that cares for each other and cares for all.
‘no one leaves home unless
home is the mouth of a shark
you only run for the border
when you see the whole city running as well
…
you have to understand,
that no one puts their children in a boat
unless the water is safer than the land’
from ‘Home’ by Warsan Shire
Education is a fundamental right for all, not a privilege for the few.

Can women have it all?
Yes they can and #jacindaardern proved that every single day she was in office. She is an inspirational women who navigated a tsunami of chaos during her term, and did it so well the rest of the world looked on in awe and wonder. Forever an icon.
The EPI reported that 44.5% of early years workers have to claim benefits and tax credits to top up their wages because of low pay. This government has such a nasty, selfish, small minded attitude to key workers.
My open access article on the educational purposes of higher education has just been published. It reviews 50 years of the journal 'Higher Education' and explores changing discussions of the societal outcomes of educating students. https://t.co/cRTw36rAA7
Daughters school locks the toilets at all times, even break and students have to ask to use them. I’m disgusted. On a different note my daughter didn’t eat in school today because they ran out of food
Still hearing about teachers not allowing students to go the bathroom when they ask. It’s power, control, & oppressive. If you are doing this, please stop.
Last week Edge Hill brought together feminist researchers and adult educators from around the globe for a fascinating conference to explore how the arts can support gender justice and equality. #EHUresearch

If arts GCSEs and A-levels and degrees are being done by fewer and fewer state educated students, and what's left is being done by privately educated students, then it's covert privatisation of training for the arts.
