For the rescue of all the children and teachers abducted by terrorists from the villages of Ahoro-Esinele, Yawota, and Alawusa, in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State, I heartily and happily commend His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria, as well as the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, and the men and women of our armed forces involved in this rescue.

This is a major feat and follows on the heels of the heroic rescue of Olaide Busayo Adegoke John-Paul, the younger sister of former Nigerian Minister of Power Chief Adebayo Adelabu, and her twins by the Nigerian Police Force.

Gradually, Nigeria is winning the war on terror and will eventually defeat the enemies of our country. It will not happen overnight. It will occur over time. But happen it shall.

OPERATION HADIN KAI TROOPS FOIL MULTIPLE TERRORIST INFILTRATION ATTEMPTS ACROSS BORNO STATE, FORCE TERRORISTS INTO DISORDERLY RETREAT

Troops of the Joint Task Force North East, Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), have successfully thwarted multiple coordinated infiltration attempts by ISWAP terrorists across Borno State in the early hours of 10 July 2026.

Between 0020 hours (12:20 a.m.) and 0230 hours (2:30 a.m.), the terrorists attempted to infiltrate into Muna Garage, Shuwari Village, and the Ajilari Cross axis to gain access into the Metropolis. With early warning mechanisms emplaced, troops swiftly detected the advancing terrorists and engaged them from multiple axes with accurate firepower, decisively frustrating all attempts to infiltrate.

In separate incidents, troops also successfully thwarted additional infiltration attempts by the terrorists at Miringa and Dutsen Kura in Buratai. During the pursuit of the fleeing terrorists at Miringa, a Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle triggered an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) with no casualties recorded on troops. The situation remains stable.

Overwhelmed by the troops’ speedy tactical manoeuvre, the terrorists were forced to abandon their mission and retreat in confusion across all axes. Troops are currently conducting clearance and exploitation operations to pursue the fleeing terrorists, consolidate operational gains, dominate the area, and prevent any further threat to nearby communities.

Operation HADIN KAI remains steadfast in sustaining aggressive offensive operations to deny terrorists freedom of action and ensure the protection of lives and property across the North East. Members of the public are encouraged to remain vigilant and continue providing timely and credible information to security agencies in support of ongoing counter-terrorism operations.

YORUBA COMMUNITY IN FCT RALLY BEHIND PRESIDENT TINUBU, INAUGURATE GRASSROOTS MOBILISERS FOR 2027

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) is witnessing a significant display of political solidarity as members of the Yoruba community, alongside representatives of various indigenous groups, have gathered in large numbers for the ongoing Yoruba FCT Forum for Asiwaju.

The event has attracted a broad cross-section of stakeholders, community leaders, women, youths, and political supporters, all united in reaffirming their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT
and his administration.

A major highlight of the gathering is the inauguration of grassroots mobilisers, a strategic initiative aimed at strengthening community engagement and expanding the support base ahead of the 2027 general election.

When Gbajue said, in his recent interview, that the Tinubu government has stopped virtually all his businesses, little did many know that he wasn't far from the truth. Gbajue may not be as wrong as he sounded. The right question should be "What are his businesses?". Well, I know a few of them and I will explain.

1. The Business of IPOB: Gbajue is an expert when it comes to reaping from the miseries of the people. Of course, the greatest beneficiary of ipob politics in the country is Gbajue, ipob literarily converted to his followers especially on social media, threatening, attacking, insulting, defaming, bullying opponents to submission or silence as any other terrorist organisation globally always do. Unfortunately, the Tinubu Government with the full cooperation of all the SE State Governments have diminished ipob and ESN, kpai many terrorists and jailed their spiritual arrowhead, leaving only Gbajue the political arrowhead, powerless!

2. Politics of Religion: The first year of Tinubu Administration erased any religious bias suspicion concerning him or his government. "Religious war" was the slogan of Gbajue during the 2023 election and seeing it totally evaporating has made one his most lucrative businesses suffered a serious liquidation and collapse. The government of Tinubu is openly fair to all religions, sought foreign assistance from several nations regardless of religion and combating terrorists like never before.

3. FUEL SUBSIDY REMOVAL: During the 2023 presidential campaign, Gbajue always told the press "I will remove fuel subsidy IMMEDIATELY", Unfortunately, Tinubu has removed the fuel subsidy INSTANTLY and another item on Gbajue's business outline disappeared.

4. Consumption to Production: Gbajue sings this more than the national Anthem. Today, our budget is hugely Capital and recurrent had gone down, even across sub-nationals. We no longer borrow to pay salaries or fund consumption, every loan is tied to one or more physical infrastructure(s). Nigeria has turned into a construction site, so much that Gbajue is confused and lack proper, reasonable words to criticise it.

5. Disgraced Country: infact the same man who borrowed Gbajue that phrase is today praising the country, cooperating, working and investing in the country. Infact, ExxonMobil is just bringing in $1b investnent. Obi the borrower of the phrase has lost another investment here. International bodies now rate, re-rate the country so highly, our performance has attracted us unprecedented investments, positive economic growth forecasts and we are back to global reckoning and dignity.

6. ObiDENTs are shrinking: Many 2023 ObiDENTs are currently supporting Tinubu, leaving Gbajue with only radical content creators and ipob remnants. In fact, according to him, some ObiDENTs that used to greet him before no longer greet him, those who had earlier invited him to their parties had recalled their invitation because most of them have regained their sanity and Gbajue's Psychiatric Centre is almost empty. Business is winding down!

Although, Tinubu’s Government affected Gbajue positively in other areas such as banking where his profits and dividends had skyrocketed, however, Gbajue's main concern is his Psychiatric Center where he invested a lot of time in but which Tinubu Administration has now turned to an isolated desert!
