I want to begin this article on the importance of critical thinking in Africa with a syllogism. It goes like this, “All human beings can think critically. All Africans are human beings. Therefore, all Africans can think critically.”

But can they? The answer to this question must surely be, “Yes they can”. But do they? And must they? These are the questions we must answer in this article. But before we do that let us define what we mean by critical thinking.

Student Labor program allows students to be able to contribute to society and wont be dependent on other people to do all the work for them.
Students will also be able to provide supervision of other people in future because they know how things work and will demand excellence

The new students are now receiving a welcome address from our Vice Chancellor, Dr. Turnball (@KDTurnbull ). He will then proceed to talk about the vision for ACU and then give a briefing on the student labor program.

Due to the changes made by the Ministry of Health to the academic calendar, ACU has revised it’s Academic Calendar for 2018. The new dates are as follows:

New Students’ Orientation: Friday, 26th January 2018
Classes begin(Returning and New Students): Monday, 29th January 2018.

ACUs mission is to equip students to wholeheartedly serve God through developing the spiritual, physical and intellectual gifts that He has Given them.

The Student Labour Program that ACU has is there help students achieve this.
