@JspSatheesh A lot of people are not tipping these days, and its become hard to find employees if restaurants don’t add service charge. Unlike tips, SC is distributed from hostess to house keeping to kitchen staff. So in a way restaurants are forced to add it to satisfy the employees.

When customer asks for refund because the order is delayed.. and the restaurant denies. @Swiggy which doesn’t care creates this fear that the customer won’t order again if we reject the refund

This is how @Swiggy scares the restaurants. Customer ordered at 12:25. Order ready at 12:35. Picked up at 1:15. Delivered at 1:43. When customer complain of cold food the option are restaurant error or customer error. Swiggy excuses itself from all blame.

@SwiggyCares There is nothing you can do. This happens regularly and you are very well aware of the issue. This is a problem with the platform itself. My post was meant to highlight the issue so other victim restaurants come forwards as well.

The swiggy mafia. This is how swiggy blames restaurants and kinda forces them into issuing refunds even for their mistakes.

This is clearly a swiggy/delivery issue. But look how swiggy flagged it as a clear restaueant error. And if the restaurant doesn’t respond to this complaint within 72 hrs, customer automatically gets a full refund. @SwiggyCares
