'WILL YOU STAND WITH INTEGRITY? WILL YOU STAND FOR TRUTH AND JUSTICE?'

Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto emphasized the crucial role of today's generation in standing up for truth and justice and living with integrity despite a system plagued by corruption.

"Changing perspectives, reversing destructive norms and practices, how fast these all happen will depend on you. When you find yourself at the crossroads, will you choose the easier, more convenient path to success? Or will you stand with integrity? Will you stand for truth and justice?" he remarked in his speech addressing the graduates of the University of the Philippines Law during their commencement exercises in Diliman, Quezon City on Saturday.

Sotto further stressed that "faith, conscience, and integrity" shall prevail over "money, power, and ambition."

"Will we be forever trapped in this vicious cycle of inequality and poverty, of corruption and injustice? I'm sure that you and I are the same. We believe that change is possible, that as a nation we can, we are, and we will move forward," he added.
