@MotorolaUS I have had Motorolas off/on for actual decades and I have never seen an upgrade -- that wasn't purely and only an emergency security patch -- done this way. Plus now during a sensitive family event I'm forced to figure out a whole new UI i wasn't permitted to learn in advance.
.@MotorolaUS wtf with the @Android#Android12 forced update that didn't "have " to be done til initially June, the Dec, but commandeered my phone so badly this AM i couldn't text my kid or read the LearnMore. Plus all the style updates are unwanted! #BadUpdate#customerexperience
@MotorolaUS No. Because the update is done, so the condition ceased. I was trying to communicate with my kid while on low battery. But you could have customers in a ditch or in need of emergency help -- this 1-3 second persistent forced upgrade pop up could seriously jeopardize safety.
@MotorolaUS Well now it doesn't matter because my phone was USELESS until i restarted so i had no choice.
This was a BADLY done update. Informed preemptive consent failed.
@MotorolaUS The update prompt just repeatedly shoved itself to the front at 1 - 3 second intervals, preventing ANY other screen. I typically run critical updates within a week once ive researched. This did not say it was a critical security update, which I've done sooner.
@MotorolaUS motorola one 5G UW ace
I had 19% battery not near charging trying to text my kid while the update prompt made it impossible to use any screen on my phone. I couldn't even click the Learn More. Literally i thought it could be a hack. I had to do it not knowing if it would restart
@jbf1755 After a rest do come back to Rep. Jeffries speech prior to introducing the new speaker... Time well spent... Rest well !! And thank you for all of your research and perspective.
