A sign in the Zeldin Drugs window reads, "Stock & fixtures must be sold quickly. Building to be torn down!" Zeldin Drugs (NE corner of 12th & Grand) closed in 1960 to make way for the Traders National Bank headquarters, the 1st KC skyscraper built since the Great Depression.
