Geno, not sure if you’ll remember me as it’s been a while. I heard your interview with Mark Tighe. Nice work. I thought you may be intrigued by this story I wrote:

@jzulgad I just listened to JHS. I couldn’t agree more. Wild back to country club approach. Read Ryan Clark’s article. Hockey is hard. In sports, you gotta want it!
@DanBarreiroKFAN I thought you may want to read a piece about your home town. It comes across as encouraging yet realistic. I’ve driven by Gary many, many times and was even in one of the high schools in the ‘90’s when recruiting football.
@CoachMurph7 Yes, ladder is what kills it for me. Not big on the slalom either, however, I get it. And these days, contact with others is minimal. Thx Coach Murph
🏀 BREAKING: After 26 legendary years, @unwmbb Head Coach/Associate AD Tim Grosz is moving on to a new chapter.
We thank @CoachGrosz for over a quarter century of leadership and memories at Northwestern!

Remembering the great Frosty Westering today. With 305 wins and 4 national titles, his resume was hall-of-fame worthy; but his true legacy lives on in the thousands of lives he touched by leading with love and positivity. #RIPFrostyWestering#Attaway
@jzulgad@AJ_FREDRICKSON I’m sorry Judd and AJ. 😔 So sad. Peace to you both and to Jessi’s husband and family.
RIP Jessi. I’ll miss your enthusiasm and energy.
“Before you play the game…fine-tune your heart, mind and soul.”
Many athletes are restricted through pressure, comparison, fear, and emotion.
BEST GAME helps athletes take control of heart, mind, and soul—so performance becomes a byproduct.
The example of Jesus was not weakness. He faced rejection, opposition, and suffering w/o backing down.
That kind of courage teaches:
*stand for what's honorable
*compete with conviction
*calm in chaos
*controlled emotions and actions
That's competitive composure, not softness.
Jesus was a radical reformer of religion, in large part because he showed no interest in maintaining purity systems or closed systems of any kind. They only appeal to the ego and lead no one to God. https://t.co/4eTmW7I7CU
"If you follow Jesus, you're soft."
Jesus called his people to deny themselves & take up their cross. That's not soft.
That translates into:
*daily discipline
*train when you don’t feel like it
*team before ego
These are the traits coaches desire in elite competitors.
@CTmagazine I had the pleasure, along with others, to spend a day and a half with him. Human beings on this earth lost a great man. I tried to soak up as much as I could in our time with him. #LetJusticeRollDown
