When I say “Build relationships” with your students, I’m saying “Just be a decent human-being to kids.” It’s not an add-on or something more to do. It’s treating kids like they’re human.
Introverts don't just observe, they read you like a book. Cover to cover. Head to toe. Your actions, your reactions. Your words and your vibe. But they stay quiet. You may think you got away with your clever words and pretty smile. But trust me, they can spot a fake from a mile.
Introverts love to talk, but it's gotta be meaningful. Feel right. Vibe right. Not small talk. No chit-chat. But things with depth & authenticity. Things that touch your heart. They're not shy. All they want is to connect on a deeper level. Soul talk. That's all.
Play is the work of kids. It’s not just running around and yelling. Play helps kids solve problems, negotiate with others, and develop self-regulation skills. When recess is reduced or omitted, you are taking away the learning of significant and necessary skills. ⛹️♀️⚽️🏀🏈⚾️
Love this reminder to stay flexible. "Fall in love with your problem and your users; don't fall in love with your solution." Education translation: Fall in love with impact and students, not your curriculum and pedagogy." @atgreenhill
@MarcusRashford@England Taking a penalty in a cup final isn't real pressure.
Real pressure is not knowing where your next meal is coming from.
Thanks to @MarcusRashford millions of families around the country will feel slightly less pressure.
Helping others is what true champions do ❤️
Three lads who were brilliant all summer had the courage to step up & take a pen when the stakes were high. They deserve support & backing not the vile racist abuse they’ve had since last night. If you abuse anyone on social media you’re not an @England fan and we don’t want you.
