@TheLooseH The complete cynic in me guesses that the gaa don’t want other sports in-fluxing on their game (although laughable when you think of the “mark”) as far as I know, the women’s game was/is under a different govern-ship, so hence haven’t had as much kick back (and better for it)

@Caolanmcaree I’m always reminded of comedian Henning Wehn’s befuddlement at the amount of fund raising and charities (albeit in the UK, but same here), and when questioned simply replied “in Germany we just pay our taxes.” Gov helluva lot to answer for.
