New antenna works like a charm, thanks @KE0PBR and @VA3KSF for the grids! Pending confirmation I'm 6 away from VUCC satellite 🤪

Eureka! New antenna is tuned up and ready to go! Needless to say I grossly underestimated the bandwidth of a Yagi and how critical the length of a driven element is ESPECIALLY on UHF. Live and learn! Will be testing on the birds tonight

@W5WTH Checked all solder connections, coax is good, swapped caps and coils can't get the SWR down to a reasonable level. Way out of the range of a simple trimming/lengthening. Maybe diplexer is faulty, going to remove it and try to run a curve on each antenna individually

Built a new antenna for working the birds based on WA5VJB’s design! 3 elements on 2 m and 5 elements on 70 cm, complete with a homebrew diplexer. SWR is way too high on the 440 side. Thoughts anyone??
