Still waiting for a reply from @MicrosoftHelps "The official account for Microsoft Customer Service & Support" since 11/24/20 Which...based on experience seems to be par for the course. The official account of the least helpful support on the planet.
I'm coming up on my 1 year anniversary!! Except its not the good kind... I am about to reach 1 year of trying to return and get a refund from @Microsoft for my @surface purchased Feb '20. They have been holding my machine and money hostage since July. They also 'lost' the dockπ‘
@surface Closing stores was a catastrophe. Worst support experience of my life trying to return a device since February. Finally get a return label. Device delivered to MS, no refund 3 weeks and counting. Why is this so hard? Why would I buy another?
@surface I purchased a SB 2 Feb 29 . You closed Microsoft stores shortly after. Blue screen on the first boot, problems ever since. I'm being told I cant return because its been too long. Have you not revised the return policy with closed stores? reinstall/restore didnt work
Which of this info needs left in 2013 and what is relevant? Even old pluralsight stuff now teaches old methods that the authors don't use anymore. Just your opinions or your current go-to is what I'm curious to know.
@julielerman@ardalis what's the flavor of the week for data flow architecture in/out of app using EF. So much outdated info out there. Use a UOW, oh no never use UOW. Service layers, view models ahhh. There is no one size fits all answer, but what's today's suggestions?
Some say EF is a UOW, don't add another and bury the dbcontext. Some say expose iquerable, others say never never do that. Then data shaping is a problem, you either write endless repo methods and make a zillion view models or allow yourself to shape on the fly via .Select.
@VivintHome I tried to report a bad link in an email I recieved to your customer service chat. The link takes you to a site that could cause a malware threat to users. Cust service brushed me off insisting Vivint did not send. I disagree, it should be fixed or at least reviewed.
7/7/12 might be the day we tied the knot....but 7/718 is the day we got drunk and rocked out to @lukecombs@ericchurch@kanebrown@brothersosborne and more. Not a bad way to celebrate 6 years with the Mrs.
