Retweeting for point 3. If there's the feeling of air blowing on me, no matter what temp, I will be shielding myself or leaving the area thank you so much. Outdoor wind is acceptable but still not so easy to tolerate.
Things that make me unreasonably angry:
โข extremely small injustices
โข being told Iโm doing it the โwrongโ way
โข the feeling of airflow from a fan or vent directly onto my skin
Took my medicine today so I could stop avoiding kitchen cleanup, living room cleanup, and Christmas shopping...
... Still have avoided all of those today
But I did stop avoiding and do furniture assembly, putting up outdoor Christmas lights, and indoor Christmas decorating.
Trying to get 5-yr-old Max to recognize the difference in his choices/actions. We started off with 2 categories:
"accident" and "on purpose". Now we've added a category for "mistake" (on purpose, but Max recognized on his own it was the wrong choice).
Category 4 is the rarest of all but is increasing in frequency proportional to the number of days he spends in kindergarten ๐ซ . Just continuing to give praise when it's due and address learning opportunities in love. Big Max is growing up so fast โค๏ธ
He was writhing in his car seat, kicking the seat in front of him, big tears streaming down his cheeks screaming "NTB!!!" over and over again. Turns out the poor kid was just hungry, but he had decided to make it about NTB instead of asking for a snack.
Overall the kids were great today but I just have to record some of the funny moments here:
๐ถ Penny slashed JJ's head with a toy Minecraft sword today like she was playing Fruit Ninja (bless his heart, he didn't retaliate)
๐ถ JJ had a complete meltdown in the van today because I wouldn't take him to the NTB tire and battery shop. He's never been there before and he doesn't even know what it is. He just likes their sign/logo.
I've figured out how to mostly regulate the rapid speech and interrupting, but the zoning out... I've got nothing. Especially the ability to ignore background noise, it does not exist rn. I just have to try to politely pause the conversation til I can undistract myself.
