@denis3350195492 Yea it’s rough to be hearing this knowing students like us having a slimmer chance within the job market each year. I would also like to support human-made work as well.
@kaitlyn31323533 I agree, art has so much intricate details given to them by the artists. With so much meaning in every piece, having AI strip that away really does steal that connection.
The post from NJIT media lab states that AI’s biggest impact is quite philosophical. Which forces us to discuss how AI disrupts the idea of creative genius and instead centers itself in curation and human-AI collaboration.

@shannonDCIM Well this is a little scary since this generation is already struggling with the job market, and the use of AI will most likely put the nail in the coffin for this matter. In my opinion we must maintain our sense of humanity.
@TanyaK64292@Isaabellasanc I agree as well, this is a big concern since human abilities that are well exclusive to humans are being valued less and diluted overall. We start to value other things that more specifically AI is good at.
Automation and AI are transforming the economy by streamlining tasks and taking over many traditional roles. As machines handle more routine work, Human traits like emotional intelligence and critical thinking become much more important.

@Degenstein11509 I believe we have stated multiple times that AI acts as a mirror and gives us back our response we designed it to give. As we slowly become more and more reliant on it.
@sofiacondron I like the concept of ethical ai, since sympathizing with people is a human trait. How to incorporate that emotion in AI will be a challenge.
From this weeks reading I mentioned that AI’s lack of sympathy is not the AI fault but our fault and if we continue to rely on that, we would lose our sense of humanity to feel that emotion. It is what makes us human and an trait AI does not have.

@mjl456scar I like how you mention that students who utilize ai as intended from the school should also promote it. Students should definitely be more educated in this field since it may also determine our future.
@shannonDCIM I enjoy your take when including Ai into our classes. Using this as a tool in a position of a student is critical and greatly impact our education.
I saw this interesting thread by @EdTechInsider regarding #AIinEducation. They were talking about how AI can create personal tutors for every student. AI in this case is able to learn and offer them personalized support and everything without teachers
