#LitterFactFriday
According to the most recent @kabtweet Litter in America study, if everyone made the individual action of picking up 152 pieces of litter (all at once) there would be no litter on the ground until someone littered again.
Take action! https://t.co/maV34oVWJ1
#UNT students!
In partnership with @UNTWMGF, join #KDB with in a litter cleanup and workshop on Feb. 4. We'll clean up litter, then talk about what we found and how we can reimagine our environmental impact related to the most commonly found litter. #wekdb#volunteer#dentontx
MARK YOUR CALENDARS!! Campus Race to Zero Waste (formerly known as Recyclemania) is 4 days away! There are 8 events over the course of the next two months to learn about topics related to adopting a low-waste lifestyle and promoting environmental justice in our lives' everyday.
During this educational campaign, we will discuss the 8'Rs of reducing waste: Reimagine, Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose, Resell, Recycle, Recruit, and Reform. The first 6 R's are ways to divert waste from landfills, while the last two challenge current wasteful and unjust systems.
Bring those plastic bags to a KDB drop-off location!
