Those saying Kevin Durant “quit on his team in the middle of the playoffs” are clueless.
KD played in 78 of 82 games this season… at 37-years-old.
He suffered an unlucky knee injury in practice and missed Game 1.
He played through injury, and suffered ANOTHER unlucky injury to his ankle in Game 2, which he played through.
This injury usually sidelines players 2+ weeks… KD is going through around-the-clock treatment. That’s why he’s not on the bench.
The Rockets aren’t as good without KD. That’s why they’re down 3-0.
Don’t buy into online narratives. KD just had bad luck, and is still the main reason the Rockets were a top 5 seed this season in the first place.
I’m calling a spade a spade… KD didn’t have 9 tovs. I was looking over the plays this morning and the NBA just gave him turnovers even though his teammates were at fault
The Houston Rockets would’ve easily been a 60-win team with Fred VanVleet and Steven Adams. We have yet to see them at full strength, so finishing 52-30 is impressive! 🚀 #AllFire
The Rockets four games against the Suns this season:
Rockets 114, Suns 92
Rockets 117, Suns 98
Rockets 100, Suns 97
Rockets 119, Suns 105
