Taxpayer $$ for Oklahoma schoolchildren shouldn’t be hidden behind walls. New transparency law passed last year will be an improvement but I don’t think it goes far enough. —We requested subpoena power for schools, vendors for 2 yrs in a row but it hasn’t advanced. #oklaed#OKleg
Thank you, @oncueexpress , for your generous donation of fuel to help get us to and from marching contests this fall! We appreciate your support of the Stillwater Pioneer Marching Band!!

Thanks to the generosity of Ponca City Public School employees and students, the district raised $49,045 this year, which exceeded last year’s donation of $45,489. Their goal is always to exceed the previous year’s donations.

@mrpfoodie @teachrecklessly @bebeshani @GregSederberg @PrincipalKafele UofM data plainly has data to support you pedagogical decision. However, I feel the guided HS homework process helps S’s as they prepare for college rigors.
As for my music field, there cannot be a fulfilling performance/audition w.o at-home practice....i.e. homework.
@Malak4Education @bebeshani @GregSederberg @PrincipalKafele I agree. Tracing the homework procedures T’s establish needs to be real-world applicable and set foundations for collegiate rigors.
Similarly, the amount of at-home practice in the HS music field has to prepare students for higher levels of rehearsals, concerts & auditions.
@JamesDeepity @bebeshani @GregSederberg @PrincipalKafele Agree. Age is a factor in how homework should be included in the learning process. Don’t over stress young learners.
@bebeshani @GregSederberg @PrincipalKafele “...more important than homework.” I agree 100%. Raising whole, well-adjusted, happy children is paramount to scholarship.
But not sold that homework should be deleted from our learning vocabulary.
Moral of the story...find the balance. Make time to listen at home. Everyday.
According to new study from the Kansas City Federal Reserve, Oklahoma lost more residents to other states than it gained over the past three years, with college graduates leading the way. https://t.co/iwdMzNwmZL #oklaed
