Gemini’s multimodal embeddings dropped last week; finally took a closer look!

they don’t just embed text - they unify text, images, audio, video into one vector space; eliminating the limit for search to be text-bound

been hacking on something this unlocks, sharing soon
also building an interactive guide with Cursor, learning in 2026 feels incredibly personal
