@pkicker2@BrooksAustinBA If itโs not a safe play, thatโs because assholes decide to tee off anyway. There was no reason to level that Hit. It was not a case where he was already committed, and the QB went down. Just a cheap, dirty play.
I get it. I didn't think there was time left watching it live because that's what NBC was telling us.
But since then, the MAC released a statement demanding transparency; the Big Ten released an explanation that included the video/audio from the review; and the MAC thanked them and agreed with the process and call.
If you're still mad, screaming conspiracy, or whatever else, you just want your bias confirmed. Opinions should evolve with facts. We haven't seen a process this transparent by a sports body, I'd say, ever, unless someone else has a better example.
Did Michigan deserve to win after that entire game? That's a different question, but man, there's no conspiracy with the call, quite the opposite in fact.
Michigan's play that "shouldn't have had time added back" took less than 9 seconds to run -- from snap until the defender touched the ball. The officials were right to put time back on the clock.
Watch it with a basketball-style countdown:
@alex_crescenti@Kellen__Voss Disagree. Thatโs the most exciting ending that any of these people are ever going to be at. Be excited. Live it up. Everything else is just old men yelling at clouds.
@UncTGoBlue@itsAntWright Thatโs an outstanding pass. Defenders arm is all the way across Angelโs body. That ball goes anywhere else, itโs a turnover. Excellent work by both Clark and Reese.
